2026 marks 20 years since we lost willie.
His wishes were clear: to make sure other kids don’t have to go through what he went through and to take care of his friends. In his light-hearted but whole-hearted spirit, we created the QuadW Foundation. With these wishes in mind, his family and eight of his closest friends embarked on a remarkable journey to carry on his legacy, his passions, and the urgent search for better treatments for osteosarcoma. On Saturday, February 28, 2026, we commemorated this impact at a benefit at the Granada Theater in Dallas. We featured a concert by The Clinton Years, who performed the best of the 90s in addition to old favorites by Willie’s high school rock band, CloverStreet. Some of Willie’s former bandmates performed with The Clinton Years, and it was a particularly meaningful evening for all who attended!
